Jivamukti Yoga Retreat in Candidasa, East Bali

8 Days, 7 Nights Immersion into Yoga, Kirtan, Meditation & Bliss.

March 20-27, 2025

8 days of soul-liberating yoga practices in Bali, the exquisite “Last Paradise” “Island of 1000 Temples”, where incense wafts through the tropical air and spirituality is the way of life. Each day, connect with the Divine and your authentic Self through intentional movement, healing mindfulness, spirited kirtan, and transformative yoga philosophy exploration. Enjoy fresh, vegan local food & fruits, to nurture your body & soul. Treat yourself to traditional Balinese bodywork in the onsite spa. Enjoy island life: swimming, snorkeling, plus an optional group temple tour & sunrise hike. Throughout our time together, we’ll draw from the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita guided by the profound inquiry: how to transcend life's stresses and the Material Ocean in the Boat of Divine Knowledge.

Krishna said, “All can cross over this ocean of material existence by seating themselves in the boat of divine knowledge.”

-Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4, Verse 36

Jivamukti Yoga is comprised of a vigorous vinyasa practice plus 5 Tenets: Ahimsa (compassion, service, nonharming vegan diet), Bhakti (Devotion to God), Nada (Yoga of Sound, Mantra, Chanting) Dhyana (Meditation), and Shastra (study of yogic scripture). These tenets will come alive in Bali during the Crossing the Ocean Retreat.

8 Days to Discover Bliss from Within.

  • A Heavenly Retreat to East Bali

Simple yet unforgettable is the best dive resort and yoga retreat that is our destination in Candidasa. Long lasting memories as the evening sun is consumed by the Indian Ocean, fisherman out at sea, and you are relaxing in our open-air beach bar enjoying the warm tropical breeze and a cool drink as another day passes away.

Encourage yourself to experience some of our fantastic activities like snorkeling or diving our breathtaking underwater world, exploring our cultural and nature, indulge in an authentic Balinese massage, and learn to prepare some of our finest cuisine in our cooking class.

  • Yoga Immersion in Paradise

In addition to our daily yoga asana and meditation practice, open to all levels, there will be a strong spiritual component to our exploration. The retreat is open and welcoming to practitioners of all faiths who come with an open mind and heart. We will explore universal ideas from the Bhagavad Gita in a modern, personal context. Bhakti Yoga enthusiasts will enjoy deep immersion in practice and lifestyle, with ample time for kirtan – devotional call-and-response mantra chanting. Experience the profound meaning of kirtan, derived from the Sanskrit words 'kir' (to cut through) and 'tan' (to expand), and deepen into the Bhav, the divine good mood.
